The rooftop view was stunning, overlooking a beautiful garden and woodland, with the bonus of Mt Fuji visible on clear days. The location was convenient, being a short walk from cable cars, a museum, and a boat port. The breakfast was delicious, offering a mix of Western and traditional Japanese dishes, and the supplied toiletries were a nice touch.

The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to Lake Ashinoko and nearby attractions like the Hakone "ropeway". The views of Mount Fuji were breathtaking on a clear day. The hotel also had fun amenities like tennis courts, ping pong, and mini golf. we highly recommend this hotel for its value, beautiful location, and private onsen experience.

The hotel provided a delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of local and international dishes to choose from. the staff were friendly and helpful, even calling the room to remind about breakfast. the location offered a nice view of Mt. Fuji, adding to the overall experience.

The public baths in the hotel were a bit disappointing, as they were outdated compared to other hotels in the area. Additionally, the hotel was quite far from most of Hakone's attractions, so it took some time and effort to reach them.

Stayed over Easter. Nice views of mountains and lake. Lovely onsen with both indoor and outdoor pools and good changing and washing facilities. Enjoyed the meals, especially the tempura.
