I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Takayama with a Hida Takayama Onsen. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the onsen was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The breakfast offered a wide selection of choices, and the restaurant served delicious meals. While the town seemed to close down at night, the hotel provided a shuttle bus to the nearby station, making it easy to access other dining options. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay in Takayama.

Traveling solo, it was helpful to have the hotel pick me up from the station. The shuttle was always on time and the staff were very efficient. The hotel is popular with families and has everything you need for a great stay. The room for 4 people was comfortable and spacious, with good facilities. The cleaning team were friendly, and the hotel has a big hot spring that was convenient. The onsen, especially the outdoor one, was wonderful. The hotel also offers great amenities and has a large in-house souvenir shop. Staff were helpful.

The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke great English. The rooms had extra tatami space and a tea set, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel had a few restaurants and a fantastic Japanese souvenir/food store. The Japanese room in the new building was spacious and clean, with comfortable futons. The twin room in the new building was also clean and spacious, with wide twin beds. The hotel provided a convenient shuttle bus from the station every 30 minutes. They also had a luggage delivery service, allowing you to send your luggage to any city in Japan.

I had a truly authentic experience at Hida Takayama Onsen Takayama Green. It felt like traveling back in time with the old-school rooms and actual keys. Wearing yukatas around the hotel added to the traditional atmosphere. The private and public onsens were a treat, even though we didn't get to experience the private one. The Japanese dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the breakfast had stunning views of the Japanese Alps. I had a cool experience and would recommend this hotel.

The location was great, being quite near to the train station and conveniently close to the popular tourist spot, Shirakawa-Go. The service was exceptional, with super convenient check-in process. Our room with a city view on a high floor was very comfortable, and the onsen was top-notch. The staff were kind enough to allow us to leave our luggage overnight, which was so helpful. We also enjoyed the hotel's shuttle bus service.

The Sky Bar was a bit disappointing. The staff were not very attentive, and we ended up leaving after sitting with empty glasses for 20 minutes.

The room was excellent - big and comfortable with great futons. Staff service was welcoming and friendly, allowing early check-in and luggage storage. Room was turned over during dinner, and we enjoyed a traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast buffet. The view from the room was also great.
