I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in the leafy suburbs of Karen, Nairobi and it was a truly delightful experience. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area away from the hustle and bustle of the city, providing a peaceful and idyllic ambiance. The attention to detail in the hotel's design and architecture is remarkable, seamlessly blending classic colonial charm with New England influences. The spacious suites are tastefully decorated, exuding a sense of luxury and sophistication. The manicured gardens and breathtaking views of the Ngong hills add to the overall charm of the hotel. It truly felt like a home away from home, with a cozy fireplace where I could curl up and read a book, feeling both comfortable and indulged.

All was more than satisfactory, with no room for improvement.

A truly fabulous dining experience with a calm and serene ambience, perfect for couples or family get-togethers. The staff provided fantastic service and the menu had plenty of selections for foodies. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated, and offered beautiful views of the garden. The bar served awesome cocktails and the overall grounds were stunning. I felt safe and secure during my stay.

Located in a quiet, green area for excursions to museums and markets. Stunning design, outstanding decor, no signs of wear. Spacious suites with garden views. Exceptional staff, professional and warm. Delicious food, well presented. Immaculate rooms, attentive housekeeping. Beautiful heated pool and well-equipped gym.

During my Easter vacation, I had an amazing experience at a hotel in Nairobi. The warm welcome from the staff was truly memorable, and they managed to check me into my room quickly despite my early arrival. The spacious Executive Suite with a four poster bed and a private balcony was absolutely stunning. The breathtaking grounds with rolling green lawns and beautiful flowers created a tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, the spa treatments, especially the massage, provided three hours of pure bliss.

There were a couple of things that could be improved. the breakfast selection was quite small.

I stayed at Hemingways for a few nights before my safari and it was worth every penny. The luxurious feeling throughout the hotel was incredible and the grounds were truly gorgeous. I appreciated the provision of bottled water, although I would have liked to see more in glass bottles rather than plastic. Sitting by the pool after my flight was so relaxing and my room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast had a delicious variety of options. it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The spa was a highlight, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I felt like a queen during my stay at Hemingways and would highly recommend it.

Everything was excellent.

We had a fantastic stopover at this beautiful hotel with amazing staff. The transfer driver was very informative and friendly. The grounds were stunning, with everything we needed to enjoy our first night of our trip. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast. The location was perfect for exploring the city.

We did encounter a few negative aspects during our stay. The hotel policy changed, and we were unable to order from the menu for lunch on Sundays.

Hemingways Nairobi - Exceptional hotel! Tastefully decorated, spacious rooms, amazing food, friendly staff. Beautiful views, quiet location, close to airports.
