We spent our Christmas at a beachfront hotel in Tulum and had a great stay. The setting was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea. We loved waking up to the sound of crashing waves and enjoying the beautiful sunrise. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the food at the restaurant was delicious, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes.

There were a few aspects that could have been improved. Firstly, the lack of air conditioning in our room was a bit uncomfortable, especially during the hot nights.

My husband and I spent just over a week here as part of our honeymoon. The setting and view are unparalleled. The staff were friendly, helpful and discreet. We stayed in two different cabanas - a cosy and romantic garden cabana, and an unbelievable oceanfront cabana. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast. The staff, especially Sofie, Damian, Kiki, and Charlie, made our stay perfect and unforgettable. A big, big thanks to them!

The location of the hotel was perfect, situated at the beginning of hotel row and close to the downtown area. It was convenient as we didn't have to sit in traffic to get to and from the hotel. Another great advantage was the availability of bikes for rent onsite, which made it easy to explore the surroundings. Additionally, the staff was extremely helpful and most of them spoke almost perfect English, which made communication effortless.

The food and cocktails at the hotel were quite expensive, although they were of good quality. However, the prices were a bit high for what they offered.

Amazing ocean view from the cabanas, close to the beach, refreshing AC, delicious food and drinks, albeit slightly pricey. Beautiful rustic artistic facility with consistent hot showers, daily water refresh, prompt app service. Cosy and relaxing for couples, with attentive and friendly staff. A special shoutout to the exceptional Sofie, Damian, Kiki, and Charlie for their unforgettable hospitality.

The restaurant served high-quality food and the staff, especially Javier from Customer experience, were exceptionally helpful. The daily yoga classes on the beach were a highlight of my stay, providing a calming and rejuvenating start to the day. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

We recently stayed in a hotel close to the best restaurants and shops of the area, and it was also right on the beach! The private beach made our stay so enjoyable! The rooms were well maintained and the bathroom was very clean. We truly enjoyed the breakfast, it was delicious, fresh and nutritious! The facilities were great and we loved the private rooftop pool that provided a breathtaking view of the beach.

The service was a bit slow, which was a bit annoying at times.

I had an amazing vacation at Papaya Playa Project and would definitely consider staying there again.

Cons: the only minor issue we encountered was the limited entertainment provided at night.
