My recent stay was truly unforgettable, with breathtaking views of the Vøringfossen waterfall right from my room. The charming vintage decor felt like stepping into a story. I especially enjoyed the cozy ambiance in the restaurant and the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed.

the hotel is charming in its own way but honestly, who needs a bathtub that floods? I nearly slipped! And poor breakfast options, but the vintage feel is cute,, if you're into that. I definitely expected a complimentary something for the inconvenience. All in all, could’ve been lovely but just couldn’t overlook these issues.

Waking up to the magnificent sight of Vøringfossen from our room was unforgettable. The cozy fireplace in the lounge created a warm atmosphere, while the historical memorabilia added a fascinating touch.

However, the lack of modern conveniences like a TV and air conditioning made our stay feel a bit dated. The absence of tea and coffee-making facilities was missed, especially after long hikes.

Although the rooms had a vintage charm, they lacked modern amenities like a kettle and the Wi-Fi access was limited. Still, the warm, welcoming staff and hearty breakfasts made for a pleasant experience.

The room had Cots, heating, a private bathroom, and a cozy seating area. The shower was nice, and the toilet was well-maintained. The best part? The breathtaking views of the falls! The atmosphere of the place is charming, really feeling like it’s from the past. Simple yet comfy, perfect for relaxing after hiking. Spa facilities enhanced the experience a lot!
