Lovely rooms, stunning fjord view, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, convenient location.

Nothing not to love.

We had a fantastic stay on the waterfront. The hotel had a perfect location, right next to the fjord and close to the ferry. The room was very clean and cozy, with an outstanding view into the Fjord and Mountains. We loved sitting on the small terrace, enjoying the surroundings. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide selection of fish and eggs, as well as good smoothies. The staff were helpful, very sufficient, and nice.

The location directly on the fjord is stunning, with breathtaking views of the water. It's a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy the tranquility of the fjord. The hotel is right on the waterfront, offering easy access to the cruise ship stopping off point of Geringer. Additionally, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a small sitting area outside to enjoy the view.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Valldal Fjordhotell! The location right by the fjord was breathtaking, and it was just a short drive to Geiranger fjord. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning view of the fjord. We loved dining on our own room terrace, enjoying the delicious food, especially the Norwegian pancakes with brown cheese and strawberry jam. The staff provided excellent recommendations for alternative dining options when the restaurant was closed. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is absolutely stunning with its beautiful location at the edge of the fjord. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a small sitting area outside. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is great. The views from the room, whether it's of the sea or the garden, are amazing. The hotel even accommodated us by allowing us to move to another room when our initial sea view room had a partial view of the parking lot.

This hotel is a great find! It's located right on the fjord and is in the perfect spot for exploring scenic route 63. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities are spot-on. The rooms are comfortable and come with a lovely little balcony or patio overlooking the water. The breakfast is delicious with a good selection of meats and croissants.

During Christmas season, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of options, including fresh fruit, homemade jams, delicious pastries, and crunchy cereals. We particularly enjoyed the stunning fjord view from the spacious dining room while savoring our breakfast. we loved the fact that our cozy and comfortable room had a private balcony overlooking the picturesque waterside walkway and park.

While we enjoyed our xmas stay to the fullest at this hotel, we would have loved to see more menu options for dinner. There were not many choices available, and we had to rely on the hotel restaurant alone as there were no other restaurants nearby.
