“Pros”: Our stay at this lovely lodge was definitely worth every penny. The room was clean, comfy, and had a homely vibe. The location was great, right in the center of town, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The reservable hot tub was unfortunately out of order.

Had an amazing Christmas stay! Loved the cozy and homely atmosphere of the lodge. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a variety of options including a delicious cooked breakfast. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main street and close to all the attractions. The staff were super friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations for day hikes and even offering bike rentals. a delightful experience!

That our room was a bit noisy at night due to its proximity to the road, which meant hearing occasional traffic noises. Additionally, the creaking floorboards and doors from other guests were a bit disruptive at times.

As those taking off early, we loved the friendly staff, tasty cooked breakfasts, and comfortable beds. The location is perfect, just a short walk to downtown Wanaka and the beautiful Lake Wanaka. The private balcony and lounges were great for relaxation. The shared facilities, including the living room, were nice and offered wine and pie. The staff also helped with restaurant reservations and taxi arrangements. a great stay with all the necessary amenities.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a balcony offering a nice view. The WiFi was exceptional, ensuring I had a reliable connection throughout my stay.

The lack of customer parking. It would have been better if there was on-site parking available, as having to park around the corner made me feel a bit insecure about my vehicle.

stayed in wanaka before, but Te Wanaka Lodge was the best by far. Rooms are clean with comfy beds, stunning mountain views, and free wifi. Common room with fireplace and lounge area is great to unwind. Amazing staff, always helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back.

our recent stay in wanaka was simply delightful. we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and cozy room at te wanaka lodge. the friendly staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even provided helpful tips for navigating the snowy conditions. the convenient location made it easy to explore the nearby restaurants and enjoy the beautiful lake.

Lack of follow-up from staff.

We got great value for our money at Te Wanaka Lodge. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the shared facilities were nice, especially the living room where we could relax with wine and pie. The location was convenient, close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff treated us well and made us feel at home.

The only thing that could make the breakfast even better would be to have more than one choice for a cooked breakfast on the menu.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this lodge. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had all the amenities I needed, including earplugs. The staff at Te Wanaka Lodge were extremely friendly and left a welcoming note with instructions for us since we arrived late. They even gave us tips on which routes to take due to the snow. The location is perfect, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beautiful lake. I also loved the hot tub in the garden and the delicious breakfast that was included in the price. the staff, comfort, and location made for a wonderful stay.
