The location of Being Porto Hostel is perfect, with easy access to the main train station and close to bars, the river, and many tourist attractions. The staff was incredibly helpful, giving me excellent recommendations for restaurants and even offering to help carry my luggage up the stairs since there is no elevator. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the shower was nice. I also enjoyed the convenience of the communal kitchen for making my own meals. The homemade jam at breakfast was absolutely delicious.

I stayed at Being Porto Hostel for almost a week and had a great time! The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, allowing us to check in early and providing helpful information about local food. The location is convenient, with a short walk to the Sao Bento metro and everything within walking distance. The breakfast was delightful, with freshly baked cakes and amazing pumpkin jam. The rooms and toilets were clean, and the wifi worked well. a wonderful experience.

As a solo female traveler, I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! The receptionists spoke English well and were incredibly helpful. The 4-bed dorm room was super clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The hostel's location near the Douro River was wonderful, and I felt safe exploring the neighborhood. The option to leave my luggage in their storage room without any fees was a huge plus. The beds and rooms were comfortable and not overcrowded, and the price for a 6-bed dorm room was great. The entire hostel, including the common areas, was very clean. The included breakfast was simple but sufficient, with fresh fruits included. The common area was cozy and a great place to meet fellow travelers. The staff offered fantastic recommendations for food, cafes, bars, and sightseeing. The owner was also super nice and welcoming. a perfect stay!
