nau palacio do governador was a delightful surprise during our holiday in lisbon. the hotel's incorporation of history into its design and attention to detail was impressive. the location, with its ocean views and proximity to attractions, was perfect. the staff provided excellent local information and helped with our airport transfer. overall, our stay exceeded expectations.

Outdoor furniture could be improved.

The room was spacious, with a true king size bed and high-quality linens and pillows. The Molton Brown toiletries were excellent. The room had real air conditioning and was properly insulated from noise. The hotel location was excellent, in a prestigious neighborhood near restaurants but away from tourist crowds. The hotel was beautifully decorated with curated art pieces and architectural features. The indoor and outdoor pools were luxurious and reserved. The breakfast was varied and good. Staff were wonderful and provided exceptional service. The spa facilities were great.

The recently refurbished historic palace had a splendid modern design touch. The friendly staff provided excellent service. The huge wellness area was a favorite, and the breakfast was one of the best in years!

As a travel enthusiast, I recently stayed at Palacio do Governador for a week-long vacation. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The rooms were impeccably clean and had a charming and authentic Portuguese décor, with beautiful white and blue tiles. The staff, especially Tiago at the reception, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the restaurant staff provided excellent service. The hotel also offered free private parking with convenient elevator access. I loved every aspect of my stay at Palacio do Governador.

Exceptional breakfast buffet. Outdoor pool not heated in May, but indoor spa pool, steam room, and sauna available. Located in Belem, opposite Torre de Belem and walking distance to Discoverers Monument. Close to main airport - 15 minutes. Well-appointed bar and terraces.

Located just in front of the Tower of Belém, this ancient palace turned luxury hotel is a perfect blend of history and modernity. The rooms are spacious and elegant, featuring comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. The service is impeccable, with friendly and knowledgeable staff that goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The breakfast is a feast for the senses, with a variety of fresh and delicious dishes. Besides, the hotel boasts excellent spa facilities, a gym, and outdoor and indoor pools.

The communication about the hotel's amenities and charges could be improved.

We had a pleasant stay in a great location very close to attractions in the Belém district. The hotel was just in front of the Tower of Belém, which was amazing to see every day. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The staff provided good service, and the breakfast had a decent variety of options. We also enjoyed the convenience of being able to easily travel back to the airport by taxi or public transit.

We did experience some confusion and lack of communication between hotel personnel, which was a minor inconvenience.

During my Xmas stay, I absolutely loved the breakfast at the hotel. It was delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was also a big plus. It was conveniently located near major tourist sites and had easy access to public transportation. I enjoyed the spacious and comfortable rooms, especially the clean and well-maintained bathrooms.

One of the drawbacks was the limited spa hours. It closed quite early and opened late, making it difficult to enjoy the facilities after a long day of exploring the city.

The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options to choose from. I loved the spacious rooms and the luxurious bedding. The indoor pool was a private oasis and the outdoor pool was reserved and elegant. I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

Staying at this hotel was a luxurious experience with exclusive amenities that fulfilled all my needs. The Spa & wellness centre, indoor swimming pool, sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage. The spa lounge, with its sun terrace and seasonal outdoor pool, provided an exclusive relaxation spot, while the garden area and sun loungers added an extra touch of luxury. The room advantages, including private facilities, provided a comfortable and serene atmosphere, and the restaurant served the most delicious buffet breakfast and special diet menus.

The only minor negative aspect was the location advantage, which was not as central as I had hoped. However, this was easily overcome by the hotel's staff and their top-notch service, which exceeded my expectations.

My stay at this hotel was exceptional. The staff at Nau Palacio Do Governador were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and luxury throughout our stay. The hotel itself was beautiful, with a rich history and stunning artwork. The location was perfect, just a block away from the Tower of Belem. I especially loved the fantastic breakfast and highly recommend the hotel's restaurant for a delicious dinner. I can't wait to come back and stay here again.

The breakfast buffet was quite good, with scrambled eggs and pastries that were moist and delicious. There were also machines for Nespresso coffee and a kitchen staff that could whip up a latte macchiato or eggs benedict on request. The location was perfect - everything I wanted to see was just a short walk away, like the Tower and the Monastery. Finally, the huge rooms and museum-like corridors were really impressive.

The pool was a bit of a letdown. To access it, I had to buy a cap for 5 Euro - which seemed excessive and very unnecessary.
