The room at Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! By Marriott Johannesburg Melrose Arch felt like a cozy retreat inspired by Hollywood stars. the bed was so comfy that I slept like a baby every night.

The hotel is conveniently located close to many great restaurants, just down the street. You won't have to go far to find a delicious meal. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options to satisfy every appetite. Additionally, the staff is friendly and helpful, making your experience even more enjoyable.

One negative aspect is that the reception staff could be friendlier and more willing to assist guests.

We loved being able to walk around the complex and explore the shops and restaurants nearby. The service at this place was top-notch, with attentive staff who were always willing to help us with any requests. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing us with a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the various amenities offered, such as room service, car hire, and laundry services. The hotel had a beautiful garden area and a spa & wellness center where we could relax and unwind.

We felt incredibly safe in the secure, gated community of Melrose Arch. The location is ideal, with plenty of high-end shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the hotel's black and white movie theme decor added a unique touch. I highly recommend this hotel for a secure and enjoyable stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. the hotel offered fantastic amenities, such as a well-equipped fitness center and a stunning swimming pool area with a restaurant. the rooms were lovely and spacious, with comfortable beds and lots of natural light.

The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, especially for vegetarians. While the hotel provided some vegetarian options, there could have been more variety in the available dishes.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Johannesburg as it is close to many of the city's sites. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and it is conveniently near Rosebank and Sandton. The rooms are well-appointed and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there are great views from some of the rooms.
