The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the town and with free car parking next to the hotel. The owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return on my next trip.

For anyone seeking a unique and authentic hotel experience, Els Jardins De La Martana is a hidden gem. This family-owned hotel boasts beautiful sitting rooms, a library, and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms in an old manor house. The owners are incredibly helpful and the location, overlooking Pont Vell, is fantastic. The efficient air-conditioning, exceptional breakfast, and friendly and attentive staff make for a memorable stay.

I stayed at a small family-run hotel with a character and perfect location. It was very close to the bridge at Besalu, allowing me to easily explore the town and enjoy the beautiful riverside views. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the bridge. The bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower. The staff was exceptional, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The breakfast served in the reception level had a nice view of the garden and the buffet-style food was delicious.
