The location couldn't have been better, just a short 4-minute walk to the train station. We also loved that the hotel is situated on a quiet side street, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any requests we had. If you appreciate retro aesthetics, you'll be pleased with the authentic décor throughout the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the use of original metal keys instead of key cards, adding a unique touch to our experience.

During my Christmas stay, I was really impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of this hotel. The rooms were warm and cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. Additionally, the location of the hotel was excellent. It was close to everything, yet set back off the main road, so it wasn't too busy or noisy. This allowed for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Lastly, I appreciated the welcoming staff at breakfast who made us our own hot drinks. The included breakfast was a nice bonus as well.

While there were many positive aspects to my stay, there were a couple of areas that could be improved upon. the breakfast, although included, was quite basic.

The value for money at Alphubel was excellent, with a surprisingly spacious and comfortable room. The location was convenient, close to the main station, and the staff treated me with great kindness and helpfulness.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more options.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the train station and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. It was nice to have so many dining options within easy reach. the hotel itself was also clean and cozy, which made for a comfortable stay. the breakfast served was delicious, especially the bakery items. the selection was good, with both a buffet and drinks to choose from. the friendly receptionist who spoke fluent English was also a plus.

One disappointing aspect was that the ski room was very crowded during the peak season for skiing. It would have been more convenient if there was more space available for storing ski equipment.

The view from the balcony could have been nicer, but it's not the hotel's fault. the presence of cigarette smoke in the establishment was unpleasant, but the room itself was nicely decorated and had a private balcony.

the room was surprisingly large with a separate sitting area and a beautiful mountain view. staff were friendly and offered a kettle during snowy weather. breakfast selection was worth the price.

I appreciated being able to leave my luggage after checking out. the views from the room were also enjoyable. the room itself was clean, well-equipped, and had a nice and bright atmosphere. the breakfast served at the hotel was satisfying, and the coffee was particularly good.

The value for money could have been better, as the room felt slightly dated and had a slight odor upon arrival. the wifi in the room was also weak, which was a bit inconvenient.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with more variety.

We recently stayed at a hotel in Zermatt for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the train station, making it convenient for our travels. The hosts were incredibly helpful, providing us with an extra plug for our international devices. The food was delicious, and we loved the atmosphere of the hotel. The mini fridge in our room was a great addition, allowing us to store snacks and have a light meal in the evening. The hotel's elevator and night key system added to our convenience, and the quiet garden courtyard was a lovely retreat. the hotel's location, amenities, and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable and allowed our family to have a great time exploring the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Alphubel! the location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the train station, supermarkets, and restaurants. the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Uncle, our host, was extremely friendly and fluent in English, making communication easy. the breakfast had a great variety of options and was delicious. We appreciated being able to leave our suitcases at the reception after checkout to explore the area. this hotel provided excellent value for money, and we would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Zermatt.
