The location of this hostel is excellent, with instant access to the beach and close proximity to popular bars and restaurants in the Chaweng beach area. The rooms are modern and comfortable, with great facilities such as air conditioning and a clean bathroom.

The staff at the front desk can be a bit abrupt and rude at times.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, and the friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with excellent air conditioning and comfortable beds. The hotel had two beautiful swimming pools and a bar right on the beach, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning view. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The location was super convenient, as it was close to everything - the town, the beach, and the vibrant nightlife. It was also great that there were several transfer and day trip services available to explore other places nearby.

I had a fantastic stay at this place. The location was perfect - right in the heart of all the action on Chaweng Street, with a beautiful sandy beach just steps away. I loved that this venue was right below the airport's runway since I was able to enjoy the planes landing and take off. The service was top-notch, with car hire, laundry, and airport shuttle services on offer. I was impressed with the room amenities, including air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a terrace with garden furniture. The leisure facilities at this hotel were outstanding, with a great outdoor swimming pool, a night club, live entertainment, barbecue facilities, and a sun terrace with sun loungers.

In short, I would highly recommend this hotel to friends.

I absolutely loved my recent stay at Lub D on Chaweng Beach. The location was perfect, right on the beach with stunning views. The resort had a modern and hip design, and everything was sparkling clean. The beds and pillows were super comfy, and the rooms had a beach view which was breathtaking. The resort had a swim up pool bar and gaming area right at the ocean, which was like a block party that you could join anytime. The breakfast included in my stay was delicious, with different options every day. The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted me with a smile. I highly recommend Lub D to anyone visiting Koh Samui.

We stayed at a hostel that was conveniently located near a good nightlife scene as well as popular restaurants. It was also situated close to the main swimming beach and right next to the beach. The rooms were adorable, spacious and came with a clean bathroom, desk space, and a beautiful balcony. Additionally, the staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was quite good. The hostel also had lockers to keep your luggage secure.

That the rooms were not entirely soundproof, so at times, noise from neighboring rooms could be heard.

My experience at Lub D Koh Samui Chaweng Beach - Sha Extra Plus was absolutely amazing. the rooms were quiet despite the central location, ensuring a peaceful stay. the breakfast, served all day, was very comfortable and convenient. the pool bar with a DJ offered fantastic music, much better than the neighboring establishments. the staff were exceptional, from the check-in girls to the team at the beachfront bar. the hotel is also surrounded by affordable street food and fine dining options. I cannot recommend this place enough. It exceeded all my expectations and I would give it 11/10 if I could.

I had such a great time at this hotel! The value for money was excellent, and the room, although small, had a nice design that I really liked. The location was perfect, right on the beach with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff treated me so well, always saying hi and smiling.

Hotel breakfast could use some improvement.

I had the BEST experience staying at this hotel. The location is perfect, right next to a huge beach bar called Ark. It's close enough to be next to the party but far enough away to not be kept up all night from it. During my stay, I did a bit of both - enjoying the nightlife and having peaceful nights. The hotel is also only about 10 minutes from the airport, which was convenient. Yes, you can hear planes going overhead about twice an hour, from sunrise to sundown, but it wasn't a big concern for me. The facilities here are top-notch, with a beachfront location and close proximity to all the favorite bars, restaurants, and shopping spots.

The only downside I can think of is that some of the staff members could benefit from more customer service training. While most of them were helpful and smiley, there were a few who seemed to be lacking in basic training.

Great facilities and location! We stayed during Christmas and loved the festive atmosphere. the two complementary activities were a lovely surprise and added to the fun. the hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the area’s wide range of food and drink options. the staff were friendly and helpful with plenty of suggestions for things to do and see. We particularly enjoyed the pool area and relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel’s size meant that it was sometimes difficult to connect with other travelers. While the staff were always around and happy to help, the lack of organized events limited opportunities for socializing.
