Upon arrival, I was initially put off by the location. the exceptional service provided by Mercure made me forget all about it. the hotel offers a free transfer service every half hour with TukTuk and bus shuttle options for shopping. the young and friendly staff went above and beyond, providing valuable information and calling taxis. the check-out process was smooth, thanks to a tall and linguistically proficient staff member who consistently ensured we had a reliable taxi service. the rooms were clean, and the cleaning service was efficient.

The room was very comfortable, with a great bed that provided a good night's sleep. the breakfast had a wide variety of options, including Thai, Asian, and western choices. I particularly enjoyed the themed evening meals at the restaurant, which offered a brilliant buffet. the concierge staff were marvelous, always willing to take us to the MRT or train station in a tuk-tuk.

The location of the hotel was a little out of the way, making it less convenient. the hotel's amenities were limited and there were no amenities nearby, making it difficult to find taxis.

The hotel's location may not be ideal, as there is no pavement leading to the hotel. This can make it difficult and unsafe to access the hotel on foot, especially with young children.
