Staying at Abbey And Esk Bed And Breakfast felt like a home away from home. the hosts, Tony & Ruth, were welcoming and made us feel like family. the room was comfortable, clean, and had all necessary amenities. the stunning garden and beautiful views added to the charm. Breakfast was superb, with a variety of options available. the location was convenient, with easy parking and a short walk to the town center, providing great views of the steam trains and river Esk.

I had such a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. The owners, Tony and Ruth, were absolute sweethearts and made me feel so welcome. As soon as I walked up the steps to the front door, I was greeted by the beautiful scent of the country garden flowers. The house itself was stunning and full of quirks, with something interesting to see on each level. My room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. I especially appreciated the extra touches like the small fridge with water bottles and the bowl of tea, coffee, and milks on the landing. The large lounge overlooking the river was a wonderful space for guests to relax in. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, with a great selection of cereal, fruit, and yogurt available. I left with a truly wonderful experience and I'm already planning my next visit.

It was nice to have breakfast in their company, and the food had a lot of variety, from cereals and fruit to a delicious full English. Plus, they were very dog-friendly, which was a big plus for me.
