I was a bit disappointed that the bar closed earlier than expected, on New Year's Eve. I was informed that the bar would be open until 11 pm, but when I went down at 10:15 pm, it was already closed.

Attending a family funeral, we had a wonderful stay at Alexandra Court. The proprietors Mark and Andy were incredibly helpful and made us feel like family. The hotel's beautiful decor and antique furniture added a touch of elegance. Our spacious room was incredibly comfortable, and the large, immaculately clean bathroom was a bonus. Breakfast, cooked by an internationally acclaimed chef, was delicious. The hotel exuded great style and taste, and the tranquil garden with Lily the spaniel was a special feature.
