the new owners of this charming establishment have done an excellent job in their first season. While the decor is slightly dated, the efficiency, friendliness, and cleanliness of the facilities far outweigh this minor detail. the breakfast served was superb, and the service provided by the hotel staff was top-notch. the rooms were basic but clean, cosy, and comfortable, with a large sliding window that allowed a refreshing breeze to enter on a scorching hot day. the dining room, with its stunning sea views, was lovely and spacious.

Alysa at Victoria Lodge was incredibly friendly and helpful. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the bed was so comfortable. the lounge area was really nice, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea or coffee. the location was excellent, within easy walking distance of the town, the beach, and the old village. Plus, there were two adorable cats!
