I had a wonderful weekend getaway in a charming location surrounded by beautiful surroundings. The pubs in the area were lively and offered a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy some drinks. The hotel room was clean and well presented, with all the necessary amenities provided. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located near the race course and the sea, offering stunning views and plenty of activities to enjoy.

There was a minor issue with the bathroom, as some tiles had black mould and the shelves had peeling paint.

The room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the gardens and the sea. the menu offered a variety of choices and the food we had for dinner was outstanding. the steak was cooked perfectly and the chips were deliciously flavorful.

We received the wrong drink from the bar and when we asked for it to be corrected, the waitress seemed indifferent and her attitude was poor. we were charged extra for a bottle of sparkling water during breakfast, which was unexpected as other hotels in this price range often provide complimentary water in the rooms.

During my recent visit to a quaint hotel in Bishopsteignton, I had a pleasant experience overall. the staff were very friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. the parking was easy to access and the location was lovely, with great views and easy access to nearby seaside towns. the food was good and offered a reasonable choice, making for a delightful Christmas dining experience.

The bathroom lacked some essential features such as a towel rail, a coat hanger, and an extra shelf and the toilet seat was slightly loose. the sleeping/lounge area would also benefit from an additional comfortable chair and a small coffee table, as it would be nice to relax in the sunny bay window area.

Meals were tasty, especially the evening dinner. Breakfast options were satisfying and filling. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend staying here for a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Our stay at the Cockhaven Arms was worth every penny. The room was beautiful with a comfy bed and a balcony overlooking the gardens and sea. The location was perfect. The staff were friendly, hardworking, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
