Staff were super friendly and got us a lovely walk right there to Buckingham Palace. The brekkie was lekker, and the room was clean and comfy. Chilled vibes all around and a lekker pub to hang out after a day of exploring.

Only problem was the shower pressure—could've been a bit better.

I enjoyed my stay at the inn. The food was excellent, especially the full English breakfast and the evening meal. The young chef really gave the dishes a special touch. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience comfortable. I loved the afternoon tea by the fire, a cozy moment after exploring the countryside. It felt nice being in a traditional setting. It was a great choice for a quick getaway with my partner.

My stay was far from perfect. The shower had terrible pressure, making it frustrating to get a decent wash. To make matters worse, the breakfast was only lukewarm on both days. Charging £2 for a slice of toast felt excessive. I expected more from my stay, and the maintenance issues reported by others certainly contributed to my disappointment.

The bathrooms need a serious upgrade to match the quality of the rooms!!! Noise from the pub can be disruptive, and the shower plumbing left a lot to be desired!!! Also, a bit more variety in dining options would be appreciated!!!

I loved the cozy atmosphere and how easy it was to explore nearby attractions, especially Blenheim Palace. The rooms were tucked away from the bar noise, offering a peaceful stay while still being close to Oxford and lovely countryside walks.

I had a fantastic time enjoying the afternoon tea that brought back childhood memories with those homemade sausage rolls, and exploring the stunning gardens at blenheim park, which is just a short walk away from the hotel. this central spot made my city strolls all the more enjoyable, as i was within easy reach of so many landmarks, including the lovely church of st mary magdalene just under 3 km away.

We had a great time at this cozy spot! The comfy bed made for amazing nights of sleep, and we loved the tasty meals—especially the venison pie and salmon. Just keep in mind some noise from the nearby road, but it’s totally worth it for such a chill stay. 😊
