elderslie guest house was a hidden gem in its hospitality. the host was accommodating, allowing early arrival and providing a cozy, spotless room with a comfy bed. the breakfast spread was delightful with a variety of options, accompanied by a lovely view of the hills and forest. convenient parking and a quiet surrounding added to the charm of the stay.

The location of this guest house was perfect for me as it was just outside of the town centre. This meant that it was quiet at night, which I really appreciated. Additionally, the guest house was not too far from the seafront, giving it a lovely tranquil feel. The room I stayed in had a fantastic view of the quiet countryside, and one morning I even spotted a deer and squirrel! The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, with little touches like toiletries and sweeties adding a nice touch. The hosts, Lorna and Patrick, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond in their care towards me, especially when I fell ill with influenza. They made sure I was well catered for, even providing tea and toast in bed. the service provided by the staff was exceptional.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The room itself was beautiful, with thoughtful touches like complimentary water and tea and biscuits. The breakfast was divine, with a variety of freshly-made options to choose from, including soy alternatives. the facilities and amenities exceeded our expectations, making for a memorable stay.

Felt completely relaxed and had no reason to complain.
