the value for money was exceptional. For the price we paid, we got so much more than we expected. The attention to detail was impressive, from the well-stocked tea and coffee facilities in the room to the basic amenities provided. The location was also perfect, with the hotel being very near to the station and in easy walking distance to the town center. Additionally, the garden area was a delightful surprise, perfect for an afternoon garden party.

I've stayed at Hill Lodge for three years and each time there have been further improvements. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is tasty, with plates for takeaway. They even gave us a lift to the station in the rain. The room was perfect for our needs and the town centre is just a 2-minute walk away. a very pleasurable stay.

Lovely family hotel

We recently had an amazing stay at a lodge in Sudbury. Irene, the host, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs when we arrived late and our booked kennels were closed. She graciously allowed our three poodles to stay with us and even provided a specially adapted room for my disabled friend. The room was splendid, spacious, and well-equipped. We were grateful to Irene for bending the rules and meeting our extraordinary circumstances. We will definitely be returning to this lodge in the future.

Nothing could have been better.

The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly, which made our Easter weekend stay enjoyable. the free on-site car park was a great feature. Another positive aspect was that the hotel was located near nearby tourist attractions, such as parks and museums.

The bathroom was not well maintained with dirty walls and mirrors. the shower lacked adequate water pressure and there were no shower curtains which made the floor and toilet wet.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location couldn't be better, as it was so near to the town centre. Everything in the town was very close and easily accessible.
