Our stay at Mckays was excellent. We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my husband's birthday. The room was reasonably priced and located across the road from the pub, so there was no noise disturbance. The hotel is situated on a picturesque road to Inverness, making it a great stopover location. The staff were friendly and the room was cozy. We enjoyed the convenience of having a restaurant downstairs and the food, especially the steak pie, was delicious. Daisy provided excellent correspondence and the check-in process was easy. a great experience and we would definitely stay again.

McKays Hotel Bar & Restaurant exceeded our expectations with its friendly staff, cozy rooms, and excellent location. The rooms were spacious and catered to our special requests. The restaurant was dog-friendly and had a great food and drinks menu. The separate access for hotel guests late at night was convenient, especially when coming back with our furry friends.

Spent Xmas at a hotel in a beautiful town surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Loved the complimentary mince pies and mulled wine served in the lobby. loved being able to walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants. Plus, the cozy fire in the lobby was a great place to relax and enjoy the holiday atmosphere.

The staff wasn't always welcoming or accommodating. We had some concerns that weren't addressed, and the complimentary breakfast was not great.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Pitlochry. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised when the manager offered me a free upgrade to a cozy cottage, perfect for me, my infant, and my dog. The cottage, located right next to the hotel, had clean and well-furnished bedrooms. Although the living area and kitchen were a bit dated, I would definitely consider staying in the cottage again with a group for a few days. The female waitressing staff and managers were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location was also excellent, allowing me to explore the town and enjoy the enchanting 1940's dam with its fish ladder across the river Tummel.
