The Old Castle Hotel in Weymouth was a delightful stay for my family and me. the excellent location allowed for easy access to landmarks such as Weymouth Museum and Nothe Fort. the relaxing garden area enhanced our downtime, and the welcoming atmosphere made our experience truly enjoyable.

Plenty of breakfast choices, personalized selection, and a good variety of drinks. Helpful and friendly owners, clean and quiet rooms. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided. Newly decorated, with an outdoor beer garden. Great location near beaches, Rodwell Trail, and a short walk from the center.

The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk from the city center and a minute away from a famous trail. Additionally, the hotel had a pub and restaurant serving delicious Thai food, which was a delightful surprise. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout my stay. Breakfast, although continental, included plastic croissants, which were a convenient and tasty start to the day.

We spent the weekend in a hotel located in an area between two towns, which allowed us to explore both places. The hotel was clean and cozy, with a recently refurbished family room which was ideal for us. We were pleased with the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome. In addition, the hot shower was a great perk after a long day of sightseeing.

The bathroom shower was a bit small for larger people to maneuver effectively. Additionally, the lack of a larger TV made the room less comfortable in the evenings. However, overall our stay was good value for money, and we would recommend this hotel for those looking for an affordable and cozy stay in the area.

We came for the seafood festival and wanted somewhere near so we didn’t need to worry about parking. the location of the Old Castle is excellent, as it is near the town, harbour, and beach. We were able to reach all of these places within 30 minutes using the Rodwell trail. the room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and well decorated. It had an en-suite bathroom with toiletries provided. There was even a small fridge in the room with fresh milk, as well as coffee, tea, and a kettle. the linen and towels were of high quality, and everything had been thought of to make our stay comfortable. the pub had a good choice of beers and the breakfast was top class, cooked to order. Martin and Diane, the hosts, were both very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is well-located in a residential street, making it easy to find parking. It is also conveniently situated near a small beach, although it is a bit of a hike to the main beach. Guests can enjoy a delicious meal at the Thai restaurant downstairs. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms. The continental breakfast offers a decent selection of items to start your day.

During my stay at The Old Chinese Restaurant, I opted for room number two. Although the hotel has been transformed into a vibrant pub with a Chinese restaurant, the room was surprisingly quiet. The beds, albeit old, provided a decent night's sleep. The breakfast tray offered a satisfactory selection of fruits, rolls, butter, and jam. The best part was the flexibility to customize your breakfast preferences without the need for complicated systems or technology. I would recommend this hotel for its value for money and convenient location.
