The Hampton Inn San Diego Downtown had a wonderful rooftop pool with breathtaking bay views. The complimentary hot breakfast was a great start to my day. The room I stayed in included a coffee maker, large fridge, perfect WI-FI, blackout curtains, loads of towels, and fresh sheets every day.

The pillows provided were below par, not suitable for side sleepers.

We also took advantage of the free shuttle to the airport, and the driver was friendly and courteous. the service and amenities at this hotel were top-notch.

the layout of the lobby was a bit confusing, and it took us some time to find the stairs. In case of an emergency, this could pose a safety concern.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn downtown for four nights and it was excellent! The staff was professional and courteous, the rooms were kept clean daily, and the breakfast had a great variety. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the city - it's within walking distance to Little Italy, Portside Pier, and Santa Fe Station. Plus, it's a short ride to the airport and walking distance to Seaport Village and the Gaslamp Quarter. Highly recommend whether traveling alone or with family!

The property is conveniently located near the cruise port and attractions like the Embarcadero and USS Midway. The staff is helpful and check in via text. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bathroom is large and has ample linens and toiletries.
