The location of the hotel is great, with a pub up the road where you can grab a drink and relax. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and took good care of us during dinner. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area with a large garden, providing a peaceful atmosphere. We were pleasantly awakened by the melodious birdsong coming from the garden.

The room we stayed in had a malfunctioning bathroom extractor fan, which made bathing quite unpleasant.

The park and ride is only a few hundred yards away, making it a convenient option for exploring the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the little 'extras' standard in Mercures. The breakfast is good and the staff are efficient and friendly.
