Stunning country house with beautiful grounds and river views. Our room was exquisite, complete with a rain shower and luxurious roll top bath. The service and dining experience were outstanding, with thoughtful accommodations for dietary restrictions. a truly wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

the location was perfect, situated just off the main street but surrounded by its own grounds. It was a wonderful change from a standard hotel, with a quirky building full of history. the staff were attentive, efficient, and friendly. Both of the hotel's restaurants served delicious food. the hotel also had roaring fires in the main areas, creating a cozy atmosphere. the grounds were beautiful, with a river nearby, and there was plenty to explore in the house and gardens. it was a delightful stay.

On arrival to a beautiful setting, I was warmly welcomed at reception and looked after for the duration. the staff at Roman Camp Country House could not do enough for me. They even gave me a fan for my room, which was greatly appreciated as it was very warm. the spacious comfort of my stay was thoroughly enjoyed by me. the stunning grounds and gorgeous 16th-century building oozed charm. the food was exceptional quality, with dinner being a great experience and breakfast one of the best I have had in a hotel at this price point. the exclusive fishing rights and the presence of peacocks roaming freely added to the wonderful atmosphere. the sleep quality was amazing, with zero road noise despite the hotel being just off the main street. it was excellent value for money and I can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel.

The cooked breakfast was delicious and well presented. The staff at the breakfast room were excellent, providing great service. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful grounds with walking paths along a river. The huge walled gardens were a sight to behold. The inn itself had cozy rooms with fireplaces, creating a lovely atmosphere. The 4 course dinner exceeded our expectations, with exceptional service. It was great to meet returning guests during our stay.

I stayed in the sundial room and had the best sleep in ages. The building itself was beautifully old, with roaring fires in many rooms. The grounds were stunning and well-maintained. a perfect choice for those who appreciate historic properties. I loved every aspect of my stay.

Lovely hotel, full of character in a beautiful location - so peaceful riverside, yet close to local amenities. Delicious food, dine on site. Delighted to find ourselves upgraded as the hotel wasn't full. Striking surroundings and decor. Lovely ambience. Peaceful setting. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed. Booked for the night after proposing to my girlfriend on Ben A'an. Couldn't have chosen a better setting. Staff were excellent and helped with setting up flowers and champagne for our arrival. The suite we stayed in had everything you could hope for and even turned out the Beatles had stayed in the same room which was a cool surprise.

The location in the Trossachs was wonderful, with beautiful grounds along a riverside estate. It was incredibly peaceful and restful, providing a perfect retreat. One of the highlights of my stay was the exquisite cuisine. The food at this hotel was of a superb standard, and the main restaurant offered truly excellent dishes.
