As a satisfied guest at Smugglers Cove, I had a fantastic stay in Clacton-on-Sea. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, going out of their way to accommodate my needs. The hotel was spotless and the facilities were better than many expensive hotels. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, providing great value for money. Additionally, the location was conveniently close to shops and only minutes away from where I needed to visit my elderly mother. a great experience and I would definitely stay again for one or two nights.

We enjoyed the Easter weekend away but unfortunately, there were a few aspects that let our stay down. However, we must mention that we received complimentary Wi-Fi and parking during our stay, which was a nice touch. The area in which the hotel was located was convenient as there were nearby shops and a restaurant. the room was nicely decorated and comfortable.

the breakfast was basic with one member of staff rudely trying to charge us again when we had already prepaid. we don't plan to return.

We loved the great air conditioning in the hot weather, making our stay very comfortable. The staff accommodated our request for ground floor bedrooms, which was perfect for my elderly mother. The continental breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans.

That it felt warm in the room, but the staff were very helpful and resolved any issues promptly.

My friends, family and I had a fantastic stay at Smugglers Cove. The location was perfect, with easy access to big shops like Tesco and Lidl, as well as being close to the beautiful Clacton beach. The customer service was top-notch, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the helpfulness of the reception staff, especially Leanne, who went above and beyond to assist us. The breakfast was delicious, and the meals and drinks were all reasonably priced. it was a lovely experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
