I loved the location of this guesthouse, as it was right in the center of town and within walking distance of the city centre. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. I also appreciated the fact that they had free parking available, which was a great convenience. Furthermore, the staff were welcoming and professional, making the check-in and check-out process very easy.

I recently stayed at a lovely guesthouse in Edinburgh for a few nights. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The nearby pubs, Lesley bar and The Old Bell Inn, offered delicious pub food and a great selection of craft beers. The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed, including a blackout screen for a restful sleep. The homemade breakfast bags were a delightful surprise, and they even surprised me with a bottle of wine one day. Highly recommended!

As a couple, we loved the warm welcome, speedy check-in, and attentive service from the friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable, and met all our needs. The delicious breakfast, including the tasty tattie scone, was a delightful surprise. The guesthouse is located in a quiet neighborhood with good transport links to the city.

Lovely stay and very comfortable. Nice 20 min walk to centre but plenty of buses if needed. Host very good and would definitely stay again. Breakfast cooked to order. Leaving early on last day before breakfast and was left a fab goody bag. Irene was an excellent host, very warm and welcoming all throughout our stay. Excellent communications. The rooms were fabulous, so comfortable and sparkling clean. Plenty tea making facilities. Free WiFi and toffees! Really comfy beds and pillows. The staff was beyond lovely. The food was tasty. The location was outside of downtown proper which is excellent as the pubs were much more affordable for food and drinks. Walking distance to Holyrood Park. Why pay huge amounts of $$$$ when you can stay here affordably? This was a bargain considering prices in Edinburgh are expensive and this was in a good area and not too far to walk into central Edinburgh, and with convenient access to bus routes. The house was nice and well kept, and the staff really nice and friendly. The breakfast was good with cooked options available including full Scottish. The room was serviceable and had what you would need for comfortable night's stay. I was in a single room and knew in advance it had a separate exclusive bathroom - but a dressing gown was kindly provided, which was great. Although the room was in the basement it had a good window with a view of flowerbeds.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when we had trouble finding our way with the sat nav. The house had a lovely ambiance and was very inviting. It was also very clean and the breakfast provided was delicious. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I booked this guesthouse for a weekend getaway and it exceeded all my expectations. The place is stunning and cozy, with generous hosts who provided unlimited coffee, teas, and mini breakfast snacks. Irene, the host, was incredibly kind and welcoming. The guesthouse is conveniently located near a high street with boutique cafes and restaurants, and a short walk to Arthur's Seat. The rooms were clean, warm, and a fraction of the price compared to other options. a lovely and peaceful stay.

I stayed at Sonas Guesthouse for a week-long vacation. Irene and Dominique, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The bed was great, and the hot shower was refreshing. Irene's attention to detail was impressive, with breakfast bags filled with goodies in the room, or the option to enjoy cereal, fresh fruit, and milk in the dining room. Off-road parking was convenient and free. a fantastic stay with excellent amenities.
