I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the heart of Wiltshire. The hotel had a central location, making it easily accessible to all of the area's must-see sights. One of the highlights was its close proximity to Stonehenge, which made exploring this historic site a breeze.

As those taking off early, we loved the personable and helpful hosts, creative and plentiful food, charming room in a 17th-century building, comfortable beds. The location was great for touring nearby attractions like Stonehenge and Avebury.

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with plenty of natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the convenience of having parking right opposite our room. The full English breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection to choose from. Despite some minor issues with the blinds, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Nothing it is perfect.

Our stay at the Green Dragon was excellent value for money. The rooms were lovely, with great facilities and comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location was convenient and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

Food for breakfast could have been improved with a wider selection of continental options.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great rainfall shower and good storage space. the garden was lovely, with wooden booths to sit outside when the weather was fine. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby Salisbury Plain and other historical sites.

The noise level could be an issue as the rooms face the car park. the wet room floor could use a mat to step onto from the shower, and the breakfast was not as big as expected.

had a wonderful romantic stay in market lavington. Green Dragon exceeded expectations with lovely rooms, comfy beds, and welcoming staff. The evening menu and breakfast were delightful. Will definitely return!

Rain shower not ideal for wet hair.

Friendly staff, good selection of pub dishes, reasonably priced drinks and food. Spacious room, easy car unloading, next to pub garden. Freshly cooked breakfast to individual tastes, attentive service. Outstanding home-cooked food, beautiful location. 😊

Walking distance, convenient parking, clean room, fully fitted, accessible bathroom.
