I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the heart of Wiltshire. The hotel had a central location, making it easily accessible to all of the area's must-see sights. One of the highlights was its close proximity to Stonehenge, which made exploring this historic site a breeze.

As those taking off early, we loved the personable and helpful hosts, creative and plentiful food, charming room in a 17th-century building, comfortable beds. The location was great for touring nearby attractions like Stonehenge and Avebury.

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with plenty of natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the convenience of having parking right opposite our room. The full English breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection to choose from. Despite some minor issues with the blinds, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at Green Dragon! the new-build annex rooms were clean and comfortable, offering modern facilities while still maintaining the charm of a village pub. the staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. the food, both for dinner and breakfast, was delicious pub fare. We particularly enjoyed the pie of the day, which was the best steak pie we've had in a long time. we highly recommend the Green Dragon for a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great rainfall shower and good storage space. the garden was lovely, with wooden booths to sit outside when the weather was fine. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby Salisbury Plain and other historical sites.

The noise level could be an issue as the rooms face the car park. the wet room floor could use a mat to step onto from the shower, and the breakfast was not as big as expected.

The accommodation was modern and spacious, providing us with all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. The food at the inn was exceptional, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which consisted of high-quality ingredients. The location of the inn was also perfect, allowing us easy access to nearby attractions. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this establishment for a pleasant country stay.

had a wonderful romantic stay in market lavington. Green Dragon exceeded expectations with lovely rooms, comfy beds, and welcoming staff. The evening menu and breakfast were delightful. Will definitely return!

Rain shower not ideal for wet hair.

stayed at a charming inn on our cycling trip, about 80k from the route start. Green Dragon had friendly staff, great food, beer, and breakfast. the large room comfortably fit 4 people and our bikes. Arnie the Great Dane was a star! Ride back up the hill to the route was a perfect warm-up. Enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast with a wide selection. Chalet room was a bonus for late returns. Delightful host, reserved garden table, and peaceful sleep. Locally sourced food added to the delightful experience.

The market Lavington is an ideal stop-over location for those seeking a peaceful countryside retreat. The pub offers luxury accommodation in a newly built annexe, providing comfortable and clean rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Guests can enjoy the excellent food prepared by the chef, with a wide range of delicious options. The rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, including comfortable beds and modern bathrooms.

The rooms in the annexe may lack ambience due to the frosted glass windows, limiting the view from the car park.
