the headland hotel and spa in newquay, cornwall surpassed my expectations during our christmas party. the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. the food in the terrace restaurant was outstanding, and the breakfast had a great selection. we can't wait to come back!

We had a terrific view of the ocean from our room, which made our stay at The Headland Hotel And Spa even more amazing. The breakfast buffet was superb with incredible food, especially the Hake from the specials menu. The hotel itself was quiet and had lots of lounge seating for relaxation. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning location and great facilities.

The hotel is ideally located just a short walk away from beautiful beaches, making it perfect for families who want to enjoy the sun and sand. The Terrace restaurant even allows dogs, so furry friends can join in on the fun. It's also conveniently situated close to town, without being in a noisy area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with stunning views overlooking Fistral beach. Plus, the staff are friendly and provide excellent service.

Some guests mentioned that the breakfast could use a bit of modernising, as the cooked buffet options were fairly standard.

Fantastic ocean views. Wonderful four poster bed & roll top bath. Top quality amenities. Excellent food and spa treatments. Perfect location for walks along the cliffs.

A delightful birthday surprise! When I mentioned it was my special day, the hotel not only gave us a table with a sea view, but also added a lovely touch of flowers, a balloon, a birthday card. The afternoon tea was delicious, with an abundance of cakes and scones. The staff, especially Ruby and her colleagues, provided excellent service. We will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend this hotel.

During our Christmas stay, we were impressed with the excellent customer service and the overall cozy and comfortable ambiance of the hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the hotel's location offered stunning views, which added to the overall charm of the experience. We also appreciated the little extras provided, such as fresh milk in the room and the turn down service with pillow spray.

We did have a couple of minor disappointments during our stay. The swimming pool in the spa was quite small, which made finding space a bit challenging.

We loved the stunning views and the amazing location of the hotel. The breakfasts were delicious with a good choice daily. The staff were lovely, particularly Ellie who was a very attentive waitress, and Sarah on the concierge desk who seems to know everyone and everything going on in this city.

Amazing hotel experience with breathtaking views and elegant decor. The staff offered exceptional customer service and the food was sublime. The spa treatments were fantastic with helpful and accommodating staff.

The prices for some treatments were expensive and not accessible for normal people. , the loud games in the pool area during a usually relaxing afternoon at the spa was disruptive and unpleasant.

This hotel offers a truly luxurious experience with exclusive amenities that exceeded my expectations. The Spa & wellness centre was of exceptional quality, with a variety of treatments including an excellent full body massage. The Indoor swimming pool was heated and the sauna and steam room were perfect to wind down. In addition, the hotel has beach access, which was perfect for relaxing with a body scrub and enjoying the stunning sea views. The infinity pool and sun terrace were also great for lounging around.

The only minor issue was the lengthy check-in process which could have been more efficient. However, the excellent service more than made up for this small inconvenience.
