The hotel is ideally situated, with its own beach accessible through the Smugglers' Tunnel and the incredible Shaldon zoo just a stone's throw away. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated in a nautical theme and had a balcony that overlooked the water. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast offered a great variety, with both continental and cooked options available. The staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I even had a visit from the hotel cat. a fantastic experience and I would definitely return.

Stayed at Database pros for a quick weekend getaway. The inn is perfectly located above a charming village, offering beautiful views of the estuary. We had such a wonderful stay at a charming B&B in a beautiful coastal location. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We also enjoyed the cooked breakfast, although it could've been better. Despite some minor drawbacks, our overall experience was fantastic and we highly recommend this place.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the sea/estuary. We loved having our own private balcony to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a very cozy bed. Another great aspect was the breakfast, which had a lot of vegetarian options and some unique choices that we hadn't seen in other hotels.

One thing that could have been improved was the shower in our room, which could have been more powerful. some of the staff could have been more welcoming, although they were not rude in any way.
