We had a wonderful stay at the charming Royson Guest House. Nigel and Sharon were the perfect hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail throughout the property was impressive, with immaculate cleanliness and beautiful decor. The breakfast menu was extensive, offering delicious options made with locally sourced ingredients. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach and within easy reach of both Sandown and Shanklin. We can't wait to return for a longer stay!

We had a fantastic Easter break at a guest house in Shanklin. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to both Shanklin and Sandown. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was amazing. We also loved the fact that we could borrow beach towels and inflatables, making our beach trips even more fun.

Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike about our stay. The only minor downside was the unpredictable weather on our last afternoon, but that's something completely out of the hotel's control.

The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect! It was situated in a very quiet area, but still just a 10-minute walk from the beach. We loved that it was close to the Coastal path and there were plenty of eating places nearby. The service and staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with nice little touches everywhere. this hotel provided great value for money and we would definitely book here again.

Lovely, quiet guest house. Bright, modern decor, comfortable beds, toiletries provided. Excellent breakfast choices and great cooks. One minute walk to cafe overlooking beach, 10/15 min walk to main area. Very nice place to stay.

The landlady Claire was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The location was close to the beach and city centre.

A kids play section kept little ones entertained during meals.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely welcoming host in Shanklin. The Royson Guest House provided the perfect family-friendly atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon and eggs. The location was great, with easy access to the beach, cafes, and quaint villages with thatched-roofed cottages. There were plenty of activities for kids, including a nearby rose garden and world heritage listed cliff-top walks. We were able to explore the area easily using the double-decker buses and did a lot of walking. our 6-night stay was perfect for the whole family, from the 3-year-olds to the grandparents.
