I had a brilliant stay at The Smugglers Inn. The hotel had a buzzing restaurant in the evenings and even had some live bands and a BBQ on Saturday night. The food was delicious, with piping hot dishes delivered to the table. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfasts consistently good. The hosts went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable, even opening up early for breakfast when we had to leave early. The Captain's Suite was spacious and the daily room service was superb. it was a lovely week and I would definitely come back.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! the value for money was exceptional - I couldn't believe the size of the room for the price I paid. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, especially with the excellent bathroom facilities. Secondly, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were friendly and accommodating, opening the kitchen after hours just to cook us fish and chips. Finally, the breakfast was outstanding. With quality ingredients and a variety of options, it was the perfect start to the day.

The location of the hotel was idyllic, right on the Somerset coast with the beach right opposite. We enjoyed breathtaking views of the sea from our room. The suite we stayed in was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The service provided by the owner and staff was exceptional - they were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. The breakfast served was delicious and included a tasty full English. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel.

Some of the chairs in the restaurant area were in need of repair, with springs coming away from the bottom.

The hotel was clean and had good facilities. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the beach and in the right area for what we were looking for. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The room was spacious and the breakfast was freshly cooked. The hotel had a great location, close to all the major city landmarks, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area which provided a great spot to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

The bathroom facilities were also lacking with a small shower and sink provided. the thin walls meant we were disturbed by noise from both the bar and neighbouring rooms, making it difficult to sleep at times.

This hotel, nestled above a bustling pub in an old building, offers excellent value for money. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the quirky features in the rooms to the exceptional bathroom with a separate shower and bath, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The breakfast, with its quality ingredients, is included and a true delight.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel with friendly staff and a warm welcome. The location was perfect, right on the Somerset coast, offering stunning coastal and garden views. Our room was fabulous, with its spacious layout, comfortable corner sofa, and dining area. The ensuite was brilliant and spotless. The delicious full English breakfast fueled us for the day. The evening dinners were superbly cooked, offering an excellent choice. We loved the relaxing atmosphere and cannot wait to return!

The green lights in the room, meant for fire safety, were very bright and couldn't be turned off, hindering our sleep.

We loved the spacious Captain's Suite with its comfortable settee, TV, and lovely en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. The tea and coffee facilities, including the Tassimo coffee maker, were excellent, and we appreciated the daily replenishment of milk, coffee pods. The balcony with outdoor sofa chairs and tables provided a great view. The friendly and welcoming host quickly resolved any minor issues. The evening meals were of good quality, and the bustling and sheltered outdoor garden was a great space for the family.

As a budget traveler, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room at a great price. The owner's offer to open up early for breakfast, even though we had to leave early, was a lovely touch. The staff were polite and friendly.
