As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenience of having a reserved parking spot and the delicious dinner with excellent service. The room was incredibly comfortable, although a bit chilly. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety, and we especially appreciated the nespresso machine in the room. The staff, though mostly new, were sensible and enthusiastic.

our valentines day stay in chagford was incredible. three crowns exceeded our expectations with their prompt service, beautiful rooms, and delicious food. the staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay unforgettable. we will definitely be back!

Parking was difficult.

Had a Christmasy stay where we were offered complimentary drinks upon arrival and had a good selection of food. Location was great and it was easy to explore the area. the staff were friendly and helpful when needed.

Room was on the smaller side and had some outdated features. There were some cleanliness issues with hairs on the bed.

the luxurious superior courtyard room was massive and the comfortable bed made it hard to leave. the locally-sourced dinner was excellent and the friendly staff made our stay even better. the private facilities fulfilled all our exclusive needs and there was even a lovely view to the hills.

The absence of signs made it a bit difficult to find the hotel, but thankfully technology helped us out. the breakfast service was not the most consistent, but we were advised to arrive earlier for a better experience.

My recent stay at The Three Crowns was absolutely delightful. The food at the restaurant was exquisite, with perfectly cooked vegetables and homemade Yorkshire puddings. The hotel itself had great facilities and outstanding staff. Located in a beautiful village, it offered an authentic English experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently situated near a pepperpot - a lovely little shop that adds to the overall charm of the village. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with beautiful bed linens and equipped with a wonderful deep bath. The staff provides excellent service, handling any complaints with diplomacy. Guests can look forward to a delicious breakfast, with options like poached eggs on smashed avocados. the hotel offers a peaceful and nostalgic experience, reminiscent of old England.

The hotel may experience some noise issues, especially during events or when guests are staying in rooms facing the street.

Clean rooms, peaceful atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. Excellent restaurant with a satisfying breakfast and dinner menu. Waitstaff could be overwhelmed at peak times, but overall a good experience.

The extractor was not powerful enough and there was no opening window, causing the room to become stuffy. the handwash basin was small and inconvenient to use.

The bed was comfortable, albeit slightly soft. The continental breakfast had limited choices, but the evening meal in the restaurant was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Chagford, the location of the hotel, is a picturesque town with plenty of tourist attractions nearby. We will definitely consider staying at this hotel again. I highly recommend it.

We had booked a room for a romantic weekend and were initially given a ground floor room near the outside dining area. However, when we explained our situation, the staff were understanding and moved us to a first-floor room with more privacy. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I recommend this hotel.
