I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was tremendously helpful, providing recommendations for nearby restaurants and even giving us extra water bottles. The room was spotless and the beds were awesomely comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect, close to UC Davis and downtown, making it easy to explore the city. I also loved the free bike rental, which allowed me to explore the area even after checking out. The breakfast was ample and diverse, with fresh berries, fluffy eggs, and even freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a pleasant surprise!

Friendly and accommodating staff/atmosphere

I had the pleasure of Cassandra on staff at the desk and she went above and beyond to make me feel at home during my stay at Ascend Hotel. The check-in was a breeze and Cassandra made sure all of my basic needs were accommodated in a very friendly fashion. The hotel has a quaint atmosphere and I loved that there were snacks available all night, including coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, and butter mints. It's the little touches like this that make a hotel feel welcoming.

The value for my money at Ascend Hotel was excellent, with comfortable beds, robes and slippers provided, and free off-street parking. The location was perfect, close to UC Davis, downtown, and the arboretum. The staff, especially the lady at the front desk, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always making sure we had fresh Starbucks coffee and going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The food for breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The location was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Plus, the availability of bikes was a great bonus. I highly recommend staying in room 201, a king corner room with a great view. I had a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were able to walk to all the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in the area. the complimentary bikes offered by the hotel were a great bonus and allowed us to explore even further. the room was extremely quiet and the bed was very comfortable, providing a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep.

The continental breakfast left much to be desired. the selection was limited and the breakfast room was quite small.

As young families, we loved the comfortable beds, clean rooms, and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with eggs, bacon, sausage, and waffles, along with yogurt, cereals. The location was perfect, just a block away from UC Davis campus and a short walk to downtown restaurants.

I recently stayed at Aggie Inn for a few nights while visiting UC Davis. The rooms were spotless and had luxurious amenities like bathrobes and slippers. The bed was incredibly comfortable with plenty of pillows. The front desk staff, particularly a helpful UC Davis student, was friendly and provided useful information. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and despite being near a railway, the noise was not bothersome. I also appreciated the free parking and the unexpected upgrade to a cottage. a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!
