Perfectly situated near the beach and all the fun!

I absolutely loved how easily I could stroll to the gorgeous Port Aransas beach, which is just a short 1.5 km away, and enjoy the nearby attractions like the Port Aransas Museum and Farleys Historic Boat Shop, located only 450 meters from the hotel, plus a fantastic variety of dining options like Cafe Phoenix and Castaways Seafood and Grill, both within a comfortable 5-minute walk; the staff were kind, the complimentary breakfast was a delightful treat, especially those Texas-shaped waffles, and although the pool could use a bit more space for swimming, it was still safe and enjoyable for my grandchildren.

The AC was a lifesaver in the heat, keeping me cool after a long day of exploring! The pool area was perfect for lounging, with a sunny vibe and a relaxing jacuzzi. Plus, the staff treated us like family and were always ready to help, even accommodating our furry friend.

This hotel is super clean and right near the beach. Breakfast is decent and has options for everyone. We loved the rooms with kitchens, especially the big suite with a balcony. The pool and hot tub were warm and enjoyable. The staff is friendly and super helpful, making it easy to check in and access everything nearby.

Clean and well-maintained. Spacious accommodations with fluffy towels and a nice mini kitchen. The staff? Exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and truly care about their guests. there were some issues. Our room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly; remnants from previous guests lingered. The AC unit leaked, leaving a wet floor. Walls are thin; expect to hear your neighbors. the breakfast policy against taking items to your room seemed misaligned with the kitchen amenities provided. And, the pool was closed during our visit. There’s potential here. With a bit more consistency in housekeeping and maintenance, this could be a standout choice. Thank you for the pleasant moments amidst the challenges.

Alister Square Inn offers a fantastic stayclose to the beach and local amenities. The pool is family-friendly, and the complimentary breakfast, featuring Texas-shaped waffles, is a delightful touch. Rooms are consistently clean, making it a budget-friendly choice for repeat visitors like us.

The breakfast spread looks fantastic, too bad I didn’t get to try it! My room smelled fresh and I slept like a baby after a day at the beach and jetty, which is just 5 minutes away.

Cleanliness varies; some rooms are fresh, but others had issues like a dirty bathroom and signs of pests. The breakfast offers a decent spread—think Texas-shaped waffles and fruit—but the room can get crowded. Staff are mostly friendly; however, there were a few unhelpful encounters with housekeeping. The location is great for exploring, and the pool area is enjoyable. Unfortunately, security could use improvement; a wallet was stolen from a vehicle during the stay. A mix of good and bad experiences makes the decision tough for a return visit.

There were plenty of pillows, though they were on the smaller side. The BBQ pits were a nice touch, perfect for a casual cookout. The breakfast served was actually pretty decent, nutritious, plentiful, and convenient. Now on to the not-so-great parts, the rooms we booked had a strong smell of mold and smoke, which was not pleasant at all. We even spotted roaches in both rooms, yikes! The cleanliness left much to be desired, with a dirty shower curtain, a sink in need of a scrub, and even a dead fly on the AC unit. The housekeeping situation was disappointing too, we had some uncomfortable encounters with housekeepers and the room was not cleaned to our satisfaction. the location was great, just a short drive to the beach. Having a washer and dryer on-site was convenient, and the kitchen accessories were a nice touch.

Our trip was epic - we hit up the beachfront resorts, rode around in golf carts, and partied at the aquarium! We were living the dream, dude!

More late-night hangout spots for young party animals would have been lit! .

Despite a few hiccups, including noise disturbances and room mix-ups, the location was ideal for me. Unfortunately, issues with loud neighbors, bugs, and unmet room requests tainted my experience. The staff's friendliness was a silver lining amidst the chaos.
