Coziness and friendly staff truly enhance the stay.

I had booked a king studio, and to my dismay, it lacked a curtain in the kitchenette area, leaving us exposed. Additionally, the bathroom was uncomfortably close to the living space, making it feel cramped. To top it off, we were looking forward to breakfast, but upon checking out, there was no one at the front desk, and no breakfast options were available. This lack of attention to service was disappointing.

I absolutely love the cozy atmosphere and how close it is to the city center. The indoor pool is perfect for relaxing after a busy day out, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The complimentary s'mores by the fire were a delightful touch for our nightly bonding moments.

However, the breakfast options could be more varied.

We enjoy the peaceful location just outside the downtown area, making it easy to explore shops while escaping the noise. The rooms offer spacious layouts with beautiful mountain views, and the available hot tub is an excellent way to relax after a day of adventures.

Heaven forbid the DVD players worked. my kids were so disappointed, it was unbearable! also, the breakfast selection was worse than what you'd find in a vending machine. seriously, i woudl ve been content with a little compensation, like an upgrade or something, but instead, they treated me like every other guest. almost gave a good review, just couldn’t.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the lovely playground and fun lawn games. Snacks like popcorn and evening s'mores by the fire pit added a wonderful touch to our stay!

The breakfast options were fairly basic, and the air conditioning unit in our room was surprisingly loud, making it hard to relax and get a good night's sleep.

the indoor pool was too chilly, making our family regret not finding a warmer place, also the toaster at breakfast barely warmed the bread. we felt absolutely overlooked and would have appreciated a complimentary upgrade for our troubles, i woudl ve been thrilled to leave a good review but alas, here we are, still disgruntled.

the beds were really comfy,, but we had a bit of noise from guests above us. really enjoyed the outdoor spaces for relaxation, and the free popcorn all day was a sweet touch! loved the complimentary s’mores in the evening too!

appenzell inn is a cozy little spot. it’s close to the golf course where the elk like to hang out. the staff was super friendly and really made us feel welcome. I loved the complimentary popcorn and s'mores at the lodge. what a fun touch! plus, having an indoor pool was perfect for unwinding after hikes.

We stayed for a night and it was super comfy. The kitchenette was great, had everything you need to whip up quick meals. The breakfast options were a nice touch—grabbed some bagels and coffee to-go! Only thing was the hot tub was off-limits, which was a bummer after a long day of exploring. Otherwise, a really nice stay!

The location gives you a cozy village vibe. noisy neighbors ruined the experience, though.
