This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a 24-hour reception, and a handy snack bar. The staff even helped me print important documents during my first stay, which I remember fondly. I recommend checking out their delicious breakfast too! I’m coming back for Christmas.

Clean room, friendly staff, with a great breakfast that includes a variety of options to start the day right, and a convenient location near the airport made for an enjoyable stay.

Staying at Best Western Inn & Suites San Mateo felt like discovering an oasis amid a desert of stress. The spacious room was comfortably bigger than my last apartment, with a lovely shower that would make any mermaid jealous! Breakfast was a delightful surprise, featuring kielbasa instead of the usual bacon, and I must say, those zesty potatoes were like a party for my taste buds! After breakfast, a peaceful stroll at the nearby Coyote Point Recreation Area was the cherry on top.

Remote control issues.

While the hotel has its perks, it’s not without its issues. There’s a significant noise problem, not just from the highway but also from the mechanical systems in the building, disrupting sleep. The breakfast choices can be hit or miss, and the use of disposable plates and cutlery is disappointing. Additionally, the rooms have a bit of an outdated feel, and the ice machine was out of order during my stay. Parking in the underground garage wasn’t the best experience as it felt poorly lit and unsafe at times.

Rooms are nice,, offering plenty of space and a comfy bed. Breakfast is decent with tables available for guests to enjoy meals whenever they prefer.

Housekeeping service is unreliable. missing towels occurred, and noise from adjacent rooms and traffic disrupted my sleep quality at night.

Good breakfast with several hot options, better than just pastries. fresh fruits, juices, eggs, and even a couple GF options. Clean, comfortable room. very friendly and helpful staff. Close to great restaurants and public transportation to downtown San Mateo.

Nothing to improve on.

During our stay, we explored the nearby Coyote Point Recreation Area, which the kids loved. The clean room had ample space for our family of five, and the helpful front desk staff made our check-in process smooth despite a minor hiccup with our travel documents.

My wife says that the breakfast selection could have been better.
