Perfectly situated just steps from the beautiful oceanfront!

Right next to the ocean, I loved how easily I could stroll onto the beach for a day of fun in the sun or a relaxing evening walk along the shore, with nearby attractions like Crescent Beach just a short 300-meter walk away and Barefoot Landing only a quick 4.5 km drive, making this spot ideal for a weekend adventure; the room was super clean with a comfy bed, and the little kitchenette made it convenient to prepare simple meals, but the hotel could improve on some dated fixtures and elevator accessibility.

The parking situation was a nightmare; I had to park in a lot across the street. Plus, our room was a letdown—dirt in corners, chipping paint, and the A/C barely worked. Felt really outdated and uncomfortable.

Great pools inside and out for the kids to enjoy. The staff were super friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome.

It wasn't the cheapest option out there, but worth the money.

Best Western Ocean Sands Beach Resort offers a prime oceanfront spot and very friendly staff. My room was spacious and clean with a lovely beach view. I found it inconvenient that breakfast was in a separate building, requiring an uncomfortable outdoor walk in cool weather.

The location is pretty awesome, right on the beach! The room was super spacious and the bed was really comfy. I loved having my own balcony with an ocean view. Breakfast was included, and the coffee was solid. Just wish the bathroom could've been cleaner and that the hot tub was actually working.

Efficient maintenance, courtesy of Adalberto, was a bright spot—he swiftly fixed our phone and delivered much-needed lotion. The lazy river was a highlight, along with easy beach access. North Myrtle is peaceful, a solid choice if you prefer calmer surroundings. the room had issues. Dirty towels and hair greeted us upon arrival. every sliding door above felt intrusive. Some staff were wonderful—shoutout to Victoria—but I found the bar staff lacking in hospitality. And parking? An inconvenience late at night. Amenities could use more attention. If you're seeking just a beach escape, manage expectations. The potential is there, but execution falls short.

Despite minor annoyances, the location on the beach and the helpful staff created a memorable experience worth returning for, especially for families seeking a quieter getaway.
