The Best Western Plus Hood River Inn has an unbeatable location right in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. My room overlooked the river and opened to the lawn area, offering magnificent views of Hood River and the connecting bridge to White Salmon. The spacious room with two separate sink/counter areas provided convenient and comfortable accommodation.

While the stay was fantastic, I did notice that the check-in desk staff and restaurant hosts were not as friendly or welcoming as I would have expected. It left me feeling a bit unwelcome, and the wait staff service was a bit unpredictable.

Great Location and Views

Perfectly situated on the Columbia River, our room had a balcony with stunning river views. the hotel also had a lovely pathway in front, perfect for a leisurely stroll. the key location offered easy access to the town and its attractions.

We had such a great experience at this hotel! The location was amazing, right on the river with beautiful views. The staff was so friendly and helpful, from the check-in to the check-out. The rooms were beyond clean and had everything we needed, including a mini fridge and microwave. The hotel amenities were top-notch, with a heated pool that overlooked the river and a delicious made-to-order breakfast in the dining room. We were even impressed by the toiletries provided. this place exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to our friends.

If you're looking for a perfect family getaway along the Oregon coast, there are a few things that the hotel has that will appeal to everyone. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby, so you won't run out of options. The hotel is also in the perfect spot for sightseeing, with convenient access to various attractions. Moreover, the room is fantastic, spacious, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Not to mention, the restaurant serves delicious food, and breakfast is free with your stay.

The one thing that could be better is the quality of the mattresses.

Great variety of breakfast choices included with stay. Enjoyed breakfast on deck overlooking river, never had to wait long to be seated. Fantastic outdoor hot tub. Convenient access to Sternwheeler cruise. Spacious room for 2 adults and 2 children. Comfortable beds. Would stay again.

We stayed in a room with a balcony and were treated to an incredibly beautiful view of the Columbia River. It was a delight to wake up to such wonderful views every morning.

The noise from the highway was a bit of a nuisance, especially in the rooms without a river view. However, this was not a major issue and can easily be solved by bringing some earplugs.

The ceilings in the hotel were low on all floors, which made the rooms feel cramped. the room had an odd smell and the temperature was set too low upon arrival.

We had a fantastic view of the River and the bridge to Washington. The paved walking trail by the property was beautiful, and outdoor dining overlooking the river looked relaxing. The Historic Columbia River Highway drive to Hood River was stunning, with many waterfalls along the way. Room upgrade for our anniversary was a nice touch. The room was spacious and the hotel offered great value for the quality and location. Complimentary breakfast in the river view dining room was amazing!

A wonderful Easter weekend away! Really appreciated the eco-friendly water bottle filling station and laundry facilities- so nice to have these complementary fact options. the location was perfect- near great restaurants and amazing views. the staff was very attentive and friendly.

The walls were a bit thin and occasionally noise from other guests could be heard in the room. the swimming pool was a bit chilly, so we didn't enjoy it as much as we had hoped.

This hotel is located right along the river, which provides stunning views of the bridge across the river. The staff from check-in to check-out was amazing and made me feel welcome with a welcome drink. The rooms were also top-notch, featuring amenities like heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a dining table, hair dryer. Additionally, the indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi made for a relaxing experience.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in this area.

We loved the fantastic view of the Columbia River and the nearby bridge to Washington state. The hotel is conveniently located away from downtown, but still close to restaurants and a beautiful river walk right in front of the complex.

It's conveniently located close to shops and restaurants, so we never had to go far for anything. the kids absolutely loved the pool, and the restaurant in the hotel, Riverside, never disappoints. the views of the water are simply breathtaking. Whether you're in Hood River or just passing through, this is a must-stay. A perfect little getaway spot!
