Fantastic base for exploring Myrtle Beach's attractions and eateries

Staying here gave us easy access to so many fun places, like the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade just a 15-minute stroll away, Ripley’s Aquarium that's almost 2 km from our door, and a bunch of great restaurants like Little Italy and Bennett's Calabash Seafood within just a few steps, making it a perfect choice for weekend explorers. The hotel also had spacious rooms and helpful staff, which contributed to a comfortable stay, but the cleanliness in some areas could use a bit of attention.

Scenic views but service could improve

The oceanfront views from the 11th floor were stunning, making for beautiful sunrises. my experience was marred by long wait times for check-in and unaccommodating staff. Despite these issues, the resort's multiple pools were enjoyable for the kids.

The check-in staff is friendly and helpful. The pool has potential with a great view, and the timeshare rep gave useful tips about the area.

The room cleanliness was disappointing.

The pool area was chaotic, with unruly kids running around, and guests smoking weed. Staff’s indifference when we reported it was shocking. The whole experience felt unsafe and poorly managed, ruining our family vacation.

I found my usual favorite spots nearby and enjoyed the lively Irish dance show and the relaxing spa. The location and amenities were great. I felt like a baseball VIP in the seats. ABBA tribute was fun!

Thought I booked a glam tower, but ended up in a shabby motel.

The staff was incredibly attentive and always made us feel at home. The beach access was perfect for some peaceful relaxation with a pigeon we named Bartholomew as our balcony buddy! My kids absolutely loved the pools and the jacuzzi was a dream.

The room was clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made for a pleasant vibe. numerous shortcomings marred the experience – no pool towels, a malfunctioning AC, and a rude housekeeper barging in too early. The view wasn’t great, and check-in delays stretched far too long. A plumbing issue forced us to use the pool area restrooms, making the inconvenience even worse. While some details shone, the myriad of frustrations left a bitter aftertaste, overshadowing the enjoyable moments.

The layout was a bit awkward; the bathroom was cramped and not conducive for privacy. The beds were comfortable, but the air conditioning failed for over half our trip, which was quite inconvenient given the number of people trying to get ready at once. The housekeeping staff was polite but didn’t meet expectations for thorough cleaning. On the bright side, the proximity to pools and attractions, along with family-friendly amenities, made our trip enjoyable despite the challenges with our accommodations.

I adored waking up to the soothing sound of the ocean with the sliding door open. The sunrise view was delightful. However, the room had a cracked ceiling, hard-to-open sliding door, and dingy bed sheets. The hotel parking and cleanliness issues were disappointing, but the friendly staff and beachfront location were highlights.

The presence of free parking was certainly a convenient perk, allowing for stress-free arrival and departures. Inside the room, I was pleased to find a comfortable sitting area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The free Wi-Fi was a great addition, ensuring I could stay connected during my stay. the lack of a dining table was a bit inconvenient for meals in the room, making it a challenge to enjoy a proper sit-down meal. I also appreciated the provision of free toiletries, a small but thoughtful touch that added a touch of luxury to the experience. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment, though I did wish there were more channels available for variety. The carpeted floor gave the room a cozy feel, but I did notice some spots that looked like they could use a thorough cleaning. the housekeeping service was a bit inconsistent, as I had to request fresh towels and trash bags at the front desk at times. I enjoyed my stay at the Caribbean, particularly the serene ambiance and the various amenities offered.
