We had a fantastic stay at Castle At Kona Reef. The view of the ocean from our One Bedroom One Bath Ocean View Suite was absolutely breathtaking, especially feeling the warm breeze while enjoying breakfast on the lanai. We loved the overall vibe, with a great pool area and easy access to local shops and eateries. It felt like a little slice of paradise while we were there!

The mattress in the bedroom could use an update.

The stunning ocean views were the highlight of our stay, especially from the One Bedroom One Bath Ocean View Suite! I loved being able to watch the surfers right from my lanai while sipping coffee in the morning. The proximity to local dining options made it easy to explore the flavors of Kailua Kona without any hassle!

The air conditioning system is inefficient, taking ages to cool the room!!! Noise levels can be unbearable due to thin walls and street traffic!!! Unit conditions are inconsistent and could really use some updates!!! Lighting in the rooms is poor!!!

Amazing sunsets from the balcony every evening!

The ocean views were breathtaking from my unit. The downside was the pool area felt a bit cramped during peak hours. Great options for snorkeling nearby made our stay even better.

the location is convienent for shopping, and has a decent pool area. the condo can be noisy if facing ali'i drive, especially at night.

the castle is close to the raintree vacation club, which is super convenient. we loved the pool area, it was the heart of all the fun. the ocean view from our suite added to the experience, but the room was dark and could use more lighting.

the sliding door felt low on security, which was a bit concerning.

The ocean view was sweet as, but the sliding door felt dodgy and some beach chairs would’ve been nice too. Had a great time watching the surfers. Chur!

The views were amazing, and I enjoyed the beach located just a short walk away. The staff were attentive, making my stay pleasant. I appreciated the pool area overlooking the ocean, a great spot to relax. My experience was enhanced by the beautiful sunsets seen from my balcony, reminding me of the art I love to capture. It truly felt like a slice of paradise.

However, the suite felt quite dark and had a strong disinfectant smell upon arrival, necessitating some extra ventilation. Thin sheets and pillows made sleep less comfortable, and the lack of beach chairs was disappointing.
