church street inn, ascend hotel collection is simply beautiful! I loved the two-story king suite. it felt like home. the fitness center was well appointed, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. plus, you're just steps away from fantastic dining options, making it super convenient!

The units feel outdated, with worn carpets in the halls!!! Poor maintenance is evident—towel racks are hanging loose, and the odor in the room is less than welcoming!!! The steep stairs can be quite a challenge, especially with luggage!!!

During my stay, I encountered several significant issues that left me disappointed. The room seemed outdated and lacked basic maintenance. I found loose towel racks and the carpet was in dire need of cleaning. Additionally, the steep stairs made lugging my suitcase a nightmare, especially with no lift available. For a hotel that charges premium rates, I expected much more in terms of comfort and convenience.

An ideal location with countless dining and shopping options right at your doorstep. The warm and accommodating staff made our stay feel special.

I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Church Street Inn. The location was perfect, just a block from the waterfront, which allowed for serene morning strolls. The generous breakfast included fresh fruit and a choice of delicious southern specialties, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality from Jack and Annelise, who treated us like family. We also enjoyed a lovely social hour on the piazza with other guests, sharing stories over wine and snacks. This Inn is truly a charming reflection of southern hospitality.
