A budget stay with a view

The Colton Court Motor Inn is perfectly located right across from the beach, making it an ideal spot for beach lovers. Our room was spacious, with a refrigerator and microwave, and the comfortable queen beds made for a good night's sleep.

I stayed for two nights, and while the location is convenient, the room had several issues. The air conditioner was very noisy and ineffective, and I noticed some cleanliness concerns like tiny ants and a worn mattress. The staff was friendly, which helped, but some upgrades are definitely needed for a better experience. This place may be suitable for a short stay if you prioritize location over comfort.

Consider asking if a Keurig is available for your room. it made our stay more enjoyable for morning coffee.

This place suits me perfectly and has everything I need, including free Wi-Fi, free parking, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a flat-screen TV. I remember how the staff helped me find my lost wallet on my first stay. I definitely recommend enjoying a dip in the pool after a long day. I’m coming back for a romantic escape!

When I arrived, I faced a lengthy wait at check-in as the staff member was absent. Unfortunately, my room lacked basic necessities like more than a half roll of toilet paper, which was disappointing. Additionally, the air conditioner was noisy and ineffective, making my stay less comfortable than I had hoped.

The beach is super close, and we enjoyed relaxing by the clean pool. The outdoor space had a fun vibe, and we checked out a couple of great restaurants nearby. Rooms were comfy, and the staff was friendly, ready to help with anything we needed!

One downside was that the outdoor carpet on the stairs and walkways was a bit worn and could use some cleaning. That made the place feel less fresh in some areas.

It was a smart choice for shopping in Cape May at a reasonable price. The kitchenette was handy, letting us prepare simple meals during our stay. Remember to bring your own cleaning supplies as housekeeping isn't provided daily.
