I was thrilled with the sliding glass doors. So few facilities have windows that can open and no matter what season it is, I want fresh air in my room while I sleep. So for me, that is a real big plus. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well. The blackout curtains worked great, providing a peaceful environment. The shower had nice pressure, and the room was newly renovated and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Short on Staff: There seemed to be a shortage of staff, especially during the night shift. This became evident when the one clerk on duty was unable to contact a manager or maintenance in case of emergencies.

sonesta in mahwah was fantastic! friendly staff, great value, and helpful with reservations. loved having a mini frig in the room and they even brought a microwave. would definitely stay again!
