A delightful touch! communication about breakfast hours was confusing, and a room with thin walls made for a sleepless night thanks to rowdy neighbors. Parking was a hassle—self-parking felt unsafe, so we opted for valet. Management seemed unprepared for the chaos. A deposit surprise and extra parking fees soured the experience. Still, the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff provided some comfort. I’d recommend it but with some reservations.

Being just a 10-minute walk from the vibrant French Quarter, this hotel makes it super easy to explore the best of New Orleans, including the lively Bourbon Street only a short stroll away, as well as nearby landmarks like Jackson Square and the New Orleans Riverwalk Shopping Center, all within walking distance; plus, I appreciated the comfortable beds and friendly staff, but the walls were quite thin, making it a bit noisy at times.

The room had stains everywhere and the bathroom was dirty. Plus, the service was a mess—took ages to get my car back from valet, nearly made me late checking out!

An incident with my valet parking led to stolen items, and the response from management was disappointing. The room's insulation was inadequate; noise from neighboring units disrupted sleep. The air conditioning failed, adding to my discomfort. Good staff exist here but significant improvements are necessary. The potential is evident—let's hope they leverage it moving forward.

Doubletree By Hilton New Orleans boasts an excellent location near Bourbon Street and the casino. The staff were generally helpful and accommodating. While the rooms showed signs of wear, the overall ambiance and proximity to attractions made for an enjoyable stay worth considering for future trips.

The staff treated us like family, always ready with a smile and a caring word. Housekeeping kept our rooms tidy, and they even accommodated our special requests.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but the experience made it worth it.

friendly staff and super easy check-in. the bed was super comfy and the shower was nice. aka walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. loved the view from the room and the sunrise! perfect location for exploring. fitness centre was a nice bonus too.
