This place was a solid choice for wandering around National Harbor with decent value. I really appreciated the complimentary overnight parking after our room wasn't ready on time. Try to arrive early if you're planning to enjoy any of the special events.

The place had this lekker festive atmosphere during the holiday season! The Cirque Du Soleil show was a highlight, and if you’re in an atrium room, you get a free view – just need some binoculars for a closer look! The indoor pool and free gym were a bonus for the kids.

But, wow, $30 for the ice skating? Eina, that's steep!

A Unique Experience with Room for Improvement!

Check-in was a bit chaotic with long lines, but the garden area was stunning! Enjoyed the rooftop bar with its retro vibe. Tip, Grab your snacks from The Marketplace, but be cautious with the pizza. If you're visiting for events, arrive early to snag better show seats!

The indoor pool was a great escape, and the laser light show was truly a highlight! However, I was a bit disappointed with the long waits for food. I would still come back!

We loved visiting the retro rooftop bar with amazing milkshakes and arcade games. The festive atmosphere kept our kids entertained, especially during the light show. A lovely spot with great views of the harbor made our family stay fun and memorable.

Staying at Gaylord National was a surprise. The activities were plentiful, and every corner of the atrium had something special, like the laser light show and gingerbread house decorating, which kept us entertained.

However, long wait times for dining options were a real drag, especially when we just wanted a quick bite. Plus, the checkout process was a bit confusing, particularly the kiosk for our valet.

Chur, bro! The staff were choice, and room was spacious, but the parking fees were cheap as – $36 after three hours! Overall, sweet as atmosphere.

I enjoyed my stay and liked the rooftop bar. The playful vibe reminded me of my childhood with the arcade games and retro theme. I appreciated the many dining options, especially the steakhouse. I found the staff courteous, and the open spaces were pleasant. It was nice to experience a bit of Americana while on a road trip with my partner.

Nothing it was perfect.

The harbor location offers a fantastic atmosphere, complemented by a clean and spacious room with two queen beds that perfectly suited our group. The staff demonstrated exemplary professionalism, especially during check-in, which set a positive tone for our stay. However, the $30 daily parking fee felt excessive for the area, and the $22 hotel fee appeared to lack transparent value. While the indoor pool and various dining options are inviting, it was disappointing to find no microwave in the room for convenience.

Exceptional meals at Old Hickory showcased high-quality dishes, though the parking cost felt excessive at $72 for two nights. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff's attentiveness stood out—especially when they quickly resolved a bathroom issue. Enjoying the stunning atrium views along with plentiful nearby dining options added to the experience. Despite the chaos of a cheer competition, the environment felt welcoming, enhancing the overall atmosphere.

This place suits me perfectly, with great amenities like the indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, and 24-hour reception. I remember on my first stay, the staff assisted me with a late departure. I highly recommend enjoying the spa services too. I’m coming back for a new year!
