The host, Heidi, was friendly and kept the areas clean. The bed pillows were comfortable, coffee maker and plush towels were nice, and there were a variety of TV channels. The pool and playground were great for kids. The staff was kind and accommodating, fixing an issue with the shower head in 15 minutes. it felt like relaxing at home, no complaints at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Gruene Cottages! The cottage we stayed in was spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed having our own bathrooms. The location was perfect, with Gruene and the San Marcos Outlets nearby. The staff even called us ahead of time to let us know our room was ready. I highly recommend this hotel for a great family getaway.

The cottage was perfect for our romantic escape. We loved the cozy and comfortable atmosphere. the fully equipped kitchen was a great convenience, allowing us to cook our own meals. the location was fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and shopping. Plus, the cottage was beautifully decorated, creating a charming and inviting ambiance.

There were a few negatives. the air conditioning was quite loud when it turned on, which occasionally disrupted our sleep.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel close to the river. The cozy rooms were very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was friendly and attentive to our requests. I loved that our room had 2 queen beds, perfect for my family. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning. Plus, the location was convenient and we were walking distance from shopping and dining. One great detail was receiving a text message every morning to check in on us, just like another reviewer mentioned. It was a nice, personal touch.

Speaking of location, this hotel is situated right by the river and close to everything! We loved being able to walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants. Secondly, the staff were so attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even provided us with a spacious room that had two queen beds, which was perfect for our group. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and gave us a great start to our day of exploring. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience at this hotel!
