Outstanding Cleanliness and Convenient Location!

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the Hampton Inn & Suites Destin. The staff was attentive, ensuring the breakfast bar was well-stocked daily. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the beach, making it perfect for a fun getaway!

The beach is close and the rooms are spacious. The bathroom needed cleaning and the ice machines were out of service.

I had such a frustrating stay! The staff was really unfriendly and even made me pick up a plunger when the toilet clogged. Plus, they misled us about being on the beach, which made hauling our stuff a nightmare!

The lack of transparency about the room upgrade pricing was disappointing. The chair in the room was worn and could use replacement. While there’s potential here, operational inconsistencies must be addressed. This is not just about aesthetics; it’s about delivering what is promised. I hope management takes these concerns seriously. Communication and follow-through are essential for guest satisfaction.

Perfect spot a short walk to the beach and fun attractions

During my stay, I loved that it was only a few steps to the beach and within easy walking distance to places like Henderson Beach State Park and The Track, plus there are great restaurants and shops just around the corner; the breakfast was awesome, and I appreciated the spacious and cozy rooms that kept me relaxed throughout my stay; the staff were friendly and the pool area had a nice relaxing setup for seating; the air conditioning in my room could use some attention but overall my experience was really enjoyable.

The pool was clean, and my kids had a great time splashing around! The breakfast had plenty of options, and we were close to shops and the beach.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it felt worth it.

The saltwater pool was my happy place, perfect for lounging under the sun. I loved the infinity pool experience – it felt like I was floating into paradise! The complimentary breakfast was a delightful way to start my mornings, filling my family and me up for our adventures.

The room size was decent but felt a bit cramped for our family. The mattresses were soft, almost like marshmallows, yet they were badly misshaped from wear. Temperature control was an issue—despite setting it to 60 degrees, the room remained warm. The noise level was somewhat disruptive; barking dogs and a surprisingly loud toilet impacted our sleep. The bathroom door showed significant wear and tear. Access to clean towels required multiple requests at the front desk, and trash removal fell on us. While the pool area was beautiful, the cleanliness of the carpets in hallways and our room left much to be desired.

The warm pool was a surprise in chilly weather. the air conditioning was excessively loud, and finding beach access was confusing without clear directions. Some amenities promised weren’t available, such as a jacuzzi and oceanfront views. Despite the minor issues, the peaceful environment and welcoming atmosphere make it a place I’d consider returning to.

I chose this hotel for a conference and was impressed by the meeting rooms and business center with views of the Arabian Gulf. The 24-hour gym and business center were convenient, and I appreciated the added amenities like the ironing board and snack shop.

The one service I missed for my work was a shuttle to nearby attractions for downtime after my conference.

I keep returning for the friendly staff and great service. They even helped me find a local food delivery number on my first stay. The amenities suit me perfectly, from Wi-Fi to an infinity pool. I'm excited to come back for Christmas!
