I got great value for my money at this hotel - the room was beautiful and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a separate seating area. The location was ideal, with a grocery store, great restaurants, and the beach all within walking distance. The staff, especially the owner/GM, front desk Julian, and housekeeper Selena, were incredibly empathetic, caring, and made me feel right at home.

The breakfast menu could be improved with more variety.

The hotel is clean, well-stocked, and offers basic amenities that make the stay comfortable. The rooms are spacious with a sofabed in the sitting area and a big comfy king-sized bed. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The location, although a bit out of SF, is central to the town and provides a peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, the breakfast includes a good waffle maker and ample options, though the refilling of hot water and coffee can be a bit slow at times.

As adventurous travelers, we loved the separate area in our room with a couch/sofa-bed and a second TV. The tub was more comfortable than the average hotel's, with a nice slant for the neck/back. The staff was very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. The soap/shampoo provided was of high quality. The room temperature could be easily controlled through the wall thermostat, and the bed was quite comfortable.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the spacious rooms and comfortable beds at Hawthorn Suites. The location in a nice part of the island was ideal for us, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel also offered free parking, which was a huge plus.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Alameda for a week-long vacation. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach, park, and restaurants. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows and the bedding was great. The breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious and satisfying. it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed being able to ride our bikes everywhere.
